Philippa Lane (CableMuse.com)

By Philippa Lane

Do you love the scent of roses?  If you answered yes to that question, then you will love Chloe Eau de Perfume Intense.

The rose, for many centuries has been the monarch of all blooms, the world’s most celebrated and famous flower. The rose has invariably been the main staple of the biggest perfume makers and is the special component to which they constantly turn to because of its appeal, charm, and magnetism.

The original Chloe Eau de Perfume, introduced in 1975, smells like a bouquet of roses with a velvety center entwining floral notes heightened with sweet accents of cedar wood, amber, and it was crafted by perfumers Amandine Marie Robertet and Michel Almairac.

Chloe Eau de Perfume Intense

In the new Chloe Eau de Perfume Intense, introduced in 2009, the rose is more prominent and captivating. The fragrance is very soft, feminine, and regal. Effervescent pink pepper head notes embraced by sandalwood and Tonka bean give it a polished and fascinating allure.

Chloe Eau de Perfume Intense is an exciting fragrance with an array of powdery soft rose notes.  It is a very fresh, unique, and feminine fragrance that is beautiful, rich, and exquisite.  It comes in a gorgeous and elegant square shaped bottle with a lovely black bow tie at the top and I absolutely loved the way the bottle looked from the first time that I laid my eyes upon it.

I have always loved Chloe perfume and Chloe Eau de Perfume Intense is no exception.  I actually like the new Chloe Eau de Perfume Intense more than the original Chloe and one reason why I do is because I love roses and the rose is an imperial ingredient in Chloe Eau de Perfume Intense.

This exquisite fragrance has notes of:  Rose, Pink Pepper, Sandalwood, and Tonka

Tonka comes from the Tonka bean. The Tonka bean has a very sweet smell to it and Tonka mixes very well with sandalwood, pink pepper, and rose. The Tonka bean also has a fragrant musky scent to it. That is why I believe that the bottom note, which is the last scent that you may smell as you wear this wonderful fragrance, has a slightly sweet and musky fragrance to it.

Chloe Eau de Perfume Intense has a very rich and melodic scent.   I love that I can smell the rose notes immediately after I spray a small amount on my wrists. The rose is the top note of the perfume.  As time goes by, I begin to smell the middle notes which are pink pepper and sandalwood. The last note that I smell is the bottom note, which is the sweet scent of Tonka.

I will say that if you do not like roses or flowers, you may not like this perfume, but if you like the aromatic essence of roses and the scent of beautiful blooms, then you will love Chloe Eau de Perfume Intense. You only need to use a small amount of this perfume to smell the distinctive and pleasingly sweet fragrance of roses.

Chloe Eau de Perfume Intense is a very feminine fragrance that you can wear anytime- day or evening, but it is not a sporty fragrance.  It is very regal, luxurious, and elegant.

Chloe Eau de Perfume Intense is wonderful to keep for your self or to give as a gift. One suggestion that I would like to make is, if you want to give a gift of roses for Valentines Day, why not give the gift of roses that is simply beautiful- Chloe Eau de Perfume Intense.

You can purchase Chloe Eau de Perfume Intense at Nordstrom’s and other fine department stores across the country and the 1.7 oz. size ranges in price from $98.00-$110.00.
