Cable Muse Network LLC (CableMuse.com) online contest is searching for the next New Media Celebrity Spokesperson for video introductions and trailers. Until April 30^th you can submit your video contest submissions to YouTube or send your CD to Cable Muse Network.

The winning New Media Spokesperson Package will include a customized Flip Video Recorder. In addition the new CMN celebrity winner will be featured on CMN, receive Student Cable Muse Network Press Pass Credentials and a one year Press Pass to cover local events (see CableMuse.com for details on credentials and passes); among other Prizes.

Each video segment submitted should be under 30 seconds. Applicants must submit at least one of two video scenes that include recitation of the texts below:

Scene One Text:

“Welcome to Cable Muse Dot Com”

Scene Two Text:

“This has been a Cable Muse Network Production” or "This has been a Cable Muse Dot Com Production"

Extra Consideration: You may also create your own News Scene; it must mention “Cable Muse DOT Com” or “Cable Muse Network”. Contestants may add to or improvise as they wish on the script!

Each video submission will be judged on voice clarity, character, originality and setting (background). Cable Muse merchandise and props are not required but available at http://www.cafepress.com/CableMuse if you want to include these in the presentation.

Cable Muse videos are currently available on CableMuse.com and YouTube. No age limits have been set by CMN, therefore “a child at heart” is qualified for the judges’ consideration.

STEP ONE: EMAIL YOUR VIDEO SEGMENT to SubmitCableMuse@msn.com or you may post your video on YouTube and send us the link. Note: If you post on YouTube judges may consider the number of views in their decision. ALL SUBJECT LINES including emails and YouTube Videos must include: “Cable Muse Contestant” so we can find it quickly and include your submissions in the contest.

STEP TWO: EMAIL, FAX or MAIL YOUR SIGNED CONSENT FORM (Click For Form)

Suggestions: Post Your Entries Early on YouTube for maximum impact and audience votes. Review the top two 2009 winning entries for ideas. If you send us a DVD we will post it for you on YouTube and email you the link.

Note: If your entry is considered as a finalist you will be contacted and required to mail a DVD with the raw footage to the address on the application.
