June 9, 2010 (CableMuse.com) Arizona Proposition
1070 the “Safe Neighborhoods Law” was signed into law by Governor Jan Brewer on April 23rd and it goes
into effect July 28th, 2010 if courts to not intervene. Language
was changed to the bill and again signed by Brewer a week later. Phoenix residents have now taken to the street with their
views.
The new Arizona law has been condemned as being racist and will promote racial profiling. Supporters of the
new law contend the federal government did not do enough to protect the Arizona Mexico border and had to take action. Editors
