April 14, 2010 - (Cable Muse
Network) - A mass email from PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) today stated, “Millions
of individual animals, including more than 2 million cats and hundreds of thousands of dogs, will be skinned (most while still
alive) for their fur in China this year alone.”
“For
a few of these animals, death will come swiftly from a knife slash across the throat. For many others, their fate is to be
skinned alive” (PETA, 2010).
PETA is our
world reality to the extreme. PETA covered atrocities in the America’s and abroad and they did not hold back the images;
the documented facts. Similar tactics of shocking images were broadcasted across the United States in their ‘Save the
Seals’ campaign. Ben Cable, editor of Cable Muse Network said, “What could top the footage of the slaughter of
defenseless seals by clubbing them to death? Today, PETA’s press release (and video) took my mind in another area I
did not want to go. The new PETA promotional short will provide with me with nightmares for countless nights".
